The Sound of Music, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s final musical collaboration, featuring a book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, will soon make history as the first Broadway touring musical to be produced in India.
Directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien, this production of The Sound of Music will debut at the brand-new Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai, on May 3, 2023.
Performances at the 2,000-seat musical theatre venue will run from May 3 to May 21, 2023.
