Travel & Leisure Asia reports:
The curtain will rise in the city as the award-winning musical The Sound of Music will makes its debut in Hong Kong on April 16! The newly staged Broadway production will take place at the magnificent Grand Theatre at Xiqu Centre.
At the same time, the classic family musical will also celebrate its 65th anniversary. Due to popular demand, with over 20,000 tickets sold to date, the producers are adding 24 more shows until June 9.
The new production of The Sound of Music has already completed multi-week runs in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and India. It will soon finish 20 weeks in China. Tickets for the additional 24 shows in Hong Kong are now available for public purchase at soundofmusichk.com.
