1929 London

Though the original 1927 Broadway cast of The New Moon was never recorded, the 1928 London cast recorded selected pieces for Columbia in 1929. Originally released on 78 rpm records, the recordings, featuring Evelyn Laye and Howett Worster,  were later transferred to CD on the Pearl Label. The recordings are available for digital streaming, paired with selections from The Desert Song recorded in 1927.
