Revived In Color: Original Production Photos from Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!


Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! first debuted on Broadway 80 years ago at the St. James Theatre in New York City, and we’ve been singing in our surreys ever since! The groundbreaking stage production redefined and revolutionized the American theatre. It was the first successful truly unified musical, in which all creative elements worked together to support the story. It was also the first of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II’s many collaborations.
